LeaseRead is a software tool, not a law firm. We are not solicitors, attorneys, or legal practitioners of any kind. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, legal opinion, or the practice of law.

2. Reports are not legal advice

The reports generated by LeaseRead are produced by artificial intelligence and are intended for general informational purposes only. They highlight clauses that may warrant attention — they do not constitute legal advice and must not be relied upon as such.

Always consult a qualified legal professional before signing any contract or taking any legal action.

3. No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LeaseRead and its operators accept no liability for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from your use of this service or reliance on any report generated by it. You use LeaseRead entirely at your own risk.

4. Accuracy

AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. LeaseRead makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any report. Legal documents are complex and jurisdiction-specific — what applies in one country may not apply in another.

5. Your data

When you upload a contract, the text is extracted and sent to an AI model for analysis. We store your scan record and report in our database. We do not sell your data to third parties. By using LeaseRead you consent to this processing.

If you provided an email address, it is used only to send you a link to your report. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.

6. Payments and refunds

Payment is processed securely by Paystack. Each analysis is a one-time payment. If the analysis fails due to a technical error on our side, contact us for a refund. We do not offer refunds where an analysis was successfully delivered.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. By using LeaseRead you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts for any dispute arising from your use of this service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LeaseRead after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
